unsatisfying
So I went into Hsinchu to watch Dr. Strange and to hang out. The movie was really good, we watched it in IMAX 3D because the showtime was closest to our time. The 3D glasses were too wide and kept slipping over my ears, but the crystal clear images and sounds were really contributing to the experience, I must say. The magic was awesome, a lot of symbols and glowing, like in full metal alchemist (but not drawn on the floor). Mads Mikkelsen, aka Hannibal, played the main antagonist, and I looove him but I think they really undercut his usual classy menacing aura with the overdone makeup...
Anyway after that, we walked around the mall a little bit, and I was promised tacos but we went to the arcade instead. The mood was odd--my theory is that everyone actually felt like keeping to themselves and weren't feeling that gregarious, but we ended up hanging out anyway? Art is usually very lively and so am I but we just wandered here and there and honestly I was quite bored :( The tacos were pretty good though, and then I journeyed home. I guess it's inevitable that some hang outs will turn out boring for one reason or another. I hope it's not because I'm boring..! >_
