I Am Jack's Frightened Nerdboy

Wow, what an interesting past few days.

Friday was Gaming session, and what a session it was. Luke ran d20 modern (YAY! I DON'T HAVE TO DM!), and it was quite amusing watching the 18 year old equivalent of my true inner child blast the crap out of Zombies. I'm REALLY gonna miss those guys, but hey, that's what fall, winter and spring breaks are for!

Saturday, I went to the Yu-Gi-Oh tournament, and my deck has never been better. I made it to 3rd place based on skill and deck strength alone, against some of the best players around (12 people showed, and more than half had really superior decks) and I more than likely could have won it had I played my cards right. Plus, I pulled two really good ultra rares (Dark Ruler Ha Des and Rope of Life) before the tournament, making my deck QUITE strong.

Sunday was uneventful. I played Xenogears (I'm now on Disk 2, and still going strong) for a while, and then went shopping for PDAs and Alex's birthday present (I got her Ranma 1/2 and InuYasha mangas,) and ended up renting Enter the Matrix, the game equivalent of LXG: not good, but still entertaining. STUPID FSCKING AGENTS! LEAVE ME ALONE!

Monday, however, was quite different. It was REALLY eventful. I played Xenogears for a little bit, then Enter the Martix. Suddenly, I went to the Credit Union to cash savings bonds so that I can go to College. Then I returned home and dissassembled my computer so that I could install my RADEON 9800 Pro. It works like a charm now. I wrap Alex's present and head over to her party. There, we randomly game for a while, then watch my new favorite movie.. FIGHT CLUB. To spoil the movie is a sin. To talk about fight club is against the rules. All I can say is that it's Plot is simply the best I've ever seen in a movie, and the plot twists are damn incredible. Anyway, after the movie and more gaming, I head home and jump on the internet to find... HACKER TROUBLE!

It seems my computer was one of the many that was targeted by the dreaded DCOM Worm. Thanks to Adam, I was able to nullify the problem through much restarting, and now it's okay. Time to get a firewall, though...
