Beth was shaking on the way home. She felt as though her stomach was about to burst out of her mouth. All she wanted to do was to be a fan, she never wanted to meet the man of her dreams. Beth always liked to sit back and be part of the crowd, hide if she could. She wasn't perfect in anyway. She had long red and black hair with spiral curls, she had peircings and tattoo's and as her mother called them her child baring hips. Beth knew that even if Ville found out her name he would forget it in seconds. She never was good around guys and Ville being the man of her dreams didn't help her cause. Beth drove up the drive way and got out of her car. Her mother watched her walk in the house in a trance.
"Hunny is everything ok? Did anything happen at work?" Her mother asked concerned. Beth just shook her head and walked up to her room. She walked in closing her door behind her. She sat on her bed facing the poster behind her door again. Beth couldn't help but stare at the man in the middle, Ville. A tear escaped her left eye as the door to her room opened and her mother walked in closing it too.
"Bethany, Please if something happened tell me" She pleaded with her daughter.
"Nothing happened ma." She replied sniffing. Her mother bent down in front of her and wiped the tear from her cheek.
"Bull Bethany, Something happened." She said firmly. Beth looked up at her mother and shook her head.
"How many times do I have to say it ma my name is Beth just plain Beth not Bethany."
"Your name on your birth certificate says Bethany and that is what I am going to call you. Now what happened at work?" Her mother pushed.
"Just I met one of my idols and I freaked out" She said not wanting to go into it any further.
"Oh is that all hunny" Her mother sighed in relief.
"Yea. Sorry ma" Beth said hanging her head again.
"It's ok so which Idol are we talking about?" Her mother asked as she moved and sat next to her daughter on her bed. Beth just looked up at Ville again. Her mother followed her gaze and saw who she was looking at.
"But hunny you met him last night" Her mother said slightly confused. Beth snapped her head around and stared at her mother like she had 3 heads.
"How do you know that?" She asked.
"Mother knows everything Bethany." Her mother said.
"Damn it." Beth said looking down again.
"Now please explain." Her mother asked. Beth just looked at her mother."Everything Bethany"
Beth sighed and started "well Last night we did meet......"
"And we danced and I asked her name." Ville explained to his band mates. "She wouldn't tell me hers until I told her mine. So I did, Then she just bolted. She knew who I was but I don't think she realised." He said as the others nodded in responce.
"So did you end up finding out her name?" Burton asked.
"No I still have no idea" Ville said sighing and slumping in his chair.
"Wait here" Burton said as he went over to his stylist. All the guys watched him as he pulled her in close and asked her something. They watched him as he returned with a large grin on his face. "How much do you love me?" He asked Ville. Ville didn't know what to say.
"I guess i'll tell you after you tell me what you know." Ville replied cautiously.
"Oh alright. Her name is Beth and she is just about to turn 21. She has been working as a stylist for 4 months....Now how much do you love me?" Burton asked again. Ville's eyes went wide as his mind started to race. She was so young and so beautiful. He breathed her name to himself causing the other guys laugh.
"And there he goes again with the thinking." Linde said as he turned around as his name was called for his solo shots. Ville didn't pay any attention to him. He finally knew he name but he wanted to find out more. Ville hoped that fate interviened again and brought them together once more.
