[Voice Post]

...Look, I understand that you're concerned...but I cannot stay here until then, the Drama Club has their performance tomorrow, and I have to be there.

*An older female voice then speaks; to students who have been to the Hospital Wing, they would recognize it was the nurse Madame Pomfrey's stubborn voice.*

Your Club will just have to go ( Read more... )

This is indeed an interesting turn of events. All the students were so well casted for this production.. but I cannot hold you at fault for this, Rue.

I will see what I can do about arranging Madam Pomfrey to let you attend the performance, if not watch it from a backstage point of view. I'm sure with some convincing on my part, she will let you attend, as long as you promise not to strain yourself. I'll carry you if I have to.

..You tripped over your kitten? She must be a fiesty one. Hm, the fates do curse my existence. Rest assured, Rue, the play will go in. If you give me the word, I'll announce Pique's position as Juliet to the club and get started working on the blocking adjustments right away.

If you are feeling better, would you like to attend the mandatory meeting with me this evening? If you aren't feeling well, I can report back to you everything that was discussed as soon as we're finished. I think calling together a last minute rehearsal would be in best interests of all members involved.

(OOC: Strike hackable to Rue.)

Thank you, Mikage, that's very kind of you. If I'm not going to be able to perform, I'd at least be able to see everyone perform. ...That's all right, I'm sure there are some crutches and an ankle brace lying around that I can use. But thank you for offering.

*sighs* Yes, ever since she became a cat again, Odile's been...even more high-strung than usual. Ha. I often feel the same way.
Go ahead and make the arrangements, Mikage. We need all the time we can get to get Pique comfortable in the role alongside everyone else.

I feel fine, but Madame Pomfrey has insisted that I do stay the night...perhaps a report would do better simply for her standards. *obviously annoyed by this*

((Rue has a second degree sprain, so her ankle is pretty badly swollen, but she really wants to perform, so she is underplaying things. 8D;;;))

No need to thank me, I'm just doing what I can to help you out in such a compromising position.

I had a talk with Madam Pomfrey and even though she was hard to deal with, I know she meant well. She is very concerned about the degree of your injuries.

If you ask one of the nurses for some crutches, then I will help you backstage tomorrow evening. I'll make sure to swing by around 7 o'clock so we can get you set up backstage before everyone starting running around disorganized.

After they play is over, it is up to you if you would like to attend the after party. But then it's back to the hospital wing with you to take some medicine and achieve a good nights rest. We wouldn't want you falling behind in your studies, but it would be excused. I'll fetch any homework I can to keep you occupied until they release you.

Oh yes, the mandatory meeting was also a success. We sat around running lines rapid fire and everyone was on the ball. A few students had concerns, but everything was worked out in the end. The blocking adjustments were made, the costumes were sized and preparations to set up backstage also were finished. Now we only have to worry about getting everyone together in time before the play begins.

And.. we put something together for you. It's a card from all the cast and crew members. I hope you like it. I will give it to you this evening when I come to pick you up.

(OOC: The card has a picture of everyone working on the production, smiling and waving with the words "Have a speedy recovery! We miss you, Rue-chan!" written in sparkly ink.)
