Shit.

Jaejoong’s jaw dropped and eyes widened as he stared at the broken pieces of glass under him.

This is not happening.

He just broke Junsu’s most treasured and precious glass! This can’t be happening! He was washing the dishes when he accidentally broke it.

He fell on his knees looking at the shattered glass. What will Junsu do if he knows about this? He remembered how fussy Junsu was when he came back and hold the glass as if it was a baby. Jaejoong knew, that glass was given by his best friends, Yoochun, Yunho and Changmin, as his birthday present. It had Junsu’s name curved on it.

Now, the glass was broken into pieces.

A sound of footsteps made Jaejoong quickly cleaned up the broken pieces and throws it into the dust bin. Junsu with his smiling face came later. He approached Jaejoong who had his back on him, pretending to wash the dishes. He sneaked his arms around his lover’s slim waist.

“Hey baby.” Junsu whispered into Jaejoong’s ear. His warm breath made Jaejoong shivered. Jaejoong only answered with a hum. “Need help?” He asked.

Jaejoong shook his head, still washing the remaining dishes. His heart beat rapidly and he was scared Junsu will notice that his glass was missing.

Junsu placed his chin on Jaejoong’s shoulder as he tightens his arms on Jaejoong’s waist. He glanced around and knitted his eyebrows.

Suddenly he turned Jaejoong’s body around with an angry look on his face. Jaejoong closed his eyes, scared of what will happen to him now that Junsu has found out about his missing glass.

“Jae,” Junsu’s voice was cold. Jaejoong shut his eyes tight. “what the heck happened to your hand?”

Jaejoong blinked. He saw Junsu was holding his right hand and then noticed there’s some cut in his hand. “Uh, Su..”

“Did you cut yourself when washing the dishes?” Junsu asked. Jaejoong was about to open his mouth to answer, but Junsu beat him to it. “Then from now on you’re not allowed to wash the dishes anymore. I’ll have someone do it for us.”

Jaejoong rolled his eyes at Junsu’s over protectiveness. “Su, I don’t need anyone to wash the dishes for us.” He let out a heavy sigh.

Junsu stubbornly replied, “But I can’t let these precious hand get cuts all over it.” He said as he kissed Jaejoong’s hand.

Jaejoong bit his lips. Should he tell him the truth or not? After minutes of thinking, he finally decided it was best to tell Junsu the truth. “Su, there’s something I want to tell you.” He began.

Junsu stopped looking at Jaejoong’s injured hand and looked at the owner of the hand instead. “Tell me what?” He asked. Jaejoong was hesitating as to how to tell Junsu the truth, but Junsu misunderstood. “Don’t tell me you’re going to break up with me.”

Jaejoong widened his eyes and shook his head furiously. “No! Why did you jump to that kind of conclusion?”

“You were hesitating.”

Jaejoong sighed. “No, it’s not that.” He paused. “What I want to tell you is-”

Suddenly Junsu shrieked. “Oh my god sun! Where the hell is my glass?!” He angrily asked as he hastily searched for his most treasured item.

Jaejoong gulped. This is it. “I broke it.” Jaejoong whispered. However, Junsu had keen ears and he definitely heard Jaejoong’s whisper.

He turned slowly at Jaejoong. “What did you say?”

Jaejoong looked down at his foot. Somehow his foot became the most interesting thing in the world at the moment rather than Junsu’s angry face. “I broke it.” He repeated, only a tone louder than earlier.

Junsu walked towards Jaejoong and the latter had to shut his eyes tight waiting for what's going to come. He felt Junsu stopped right in front of him because he could feel Junsu’s breathe against his hair.

Without warning, Junsu pulled Jaejoong in his embrace. Jaejoong widened his eyes because of the sudden hug, but relaxed afterwards. “I’m sorry, Su. I didn’t mean to.” Jaejoong muttered.

Junsu pulled away and caressed Jaejoong’s cheek. “Is that the reason for these cuts on your hand?” Junsu asked, his voice gentler.

Jaejoong nodded. “I’m so sorry, Su. I know that glass mean so much to you, but-”

Junsu shut him up with a kiss. “You mean a lot more than that.” He said, smiling.

Jaejoong had to cover his face with his hands so that Junsu won’t see him crying like a girl. However, Junsu pulled away his hands and wiped Jaejoong’s tears himself.

“Don’t cry. I’m not mad, Jae.”

“Really?” Jaejoong looked up to see his lover. “Do I worth more than that glass in your eyes, Su?”

Junsu nodded and pulled Jaejoong into a hug. “You don’t know how much you mean to me, Jae. I love you.” He said, kissing the top of Jaejoong’s head.

Jaejoong smiled and hugged Junsu tighter. “I love you too, Su.”

Junsu pulled away with a naughty smirk hanging on his face. “But you should be punished for breaking my glass. Ready for it?” Junsu asked with a challenging tone.

Jaejoong smirked back. “Bring it on.” He said as he started to unbutton Junsu’s vest.

Junsu pulled Jaejoong to their shared bedroom and locked the door.
