(no subject)
Good news: I have three quarters of the next TPATD chapter written and a couple of ideas for CT as well.
Bad news? My bunnies still aren't working with me. GAAAHHHH.
Anyways, more doodles to entertain you guys (and if I'm lucky, it'll buy forgiveness for the delay in posting the chapters). I've become rather fond of the airbrush tool, so I decided to practice with it and see what I got:
+ The top left corner is a take two of a chibi I did for Elya quite some time ago. I'm loving this version much better than the first one I tried...maybe I'll even flesh it out into a fully drawn chibi, complete with colors.
+ Bottom left corner is one of my older OC's, Sara. She's a tomboy with Irish and Japanese roots...aaaand that's all I really remember of her. Like Talia, I probably need to go back and recreate her backstory - I'm so terrible, but I made tons of OC's when I was younger and she's one of the ones who kinda comes and goes.
+ The middle is - of course - Valon. There's a funny story behind this one; I was trying for ages to come up with a pose for him (since he was the only one I really gave a full body aside from Elya) when my brother walked in from class. He heard my predicament and gave me this dashing pose - and of course it takes up the most space. Valon's such an attention hound, haha :D
+ Beneath Valon is Papa Knighton. It has been literal YEARS since I last drew him, as he poses the same problem Raphael does - his body. I at least got the upper half of his body this time...? Bah, I should have stuck Lilith in there somehow.
+ Of course we have Thomas in the bottom right, though he looks a bit off...it's probably the yellow. Come to think of it, he despises the color yellow....anyways, more practice with my favorite Kaiba bodyguard is a good thing.
+ And finally in the upper right corner, a very lazily drawn Rishid chibi. Towards the end I stopped focusing on details so much (which is why Thomas looks just as lazy) because of the other ones I did and decided "meh". He still looks good though - I think...?
And to top things off, I also bring chibi Elya lineart; I kinda have this mental image of Elya letting her hair out of its customary braid for just a little bit and then getting startled by something or someone, oho~. I also liked how I got the lineart, though, so I kept those initial sketches as well - and then it kinda sorta turned into a "how I did it" haha. :D
