Dear Eric,
The College of Pharmacy has received applications from many very qualified candidates for admission into our Class of 2012 and we thank you for submitting yours! As expected, there are far more applicants than available seats in the class. As a result, many applicants, who are otherwise qualified, cannot be admitted into the incoming class.
You are currently placed on the Alternate List for the Class of 2012 and if a seat becomes available you may be invited to join the class entering in July 2009. The Office of Student Affairs will advise you of any change in your status, if new information becomes available.
The College of Pharmacy also has a policy of Automatic Admission into the following year’s class. Under the terms of this policy, applicants who have been interviewed and whose coursework is completed may be considered for automatic admission when the admissions cycle for the Class of 2013 begins in May of next year. If you wish to be considered for automatic admission for the Class of 2013, check the box below and return this letter to me.

So yea, I got wait-listed. Could be worse. But at least if a spot does not open up this year, I will be accepted next year. So if I don't get accepted anywhere else, I should be graduating by 2013 one way or the other.
In other news, I hate my Recombinant Genetics class- I'm getting a D and its kinda bullshit. Don't feel like going into it more than to say there are no tests, just a bunch of little assignments and labs. One of the professors lost a bunch of my work so I redid it and emailed it to him and he said he would not be accepting make-up work and if it was missing I should have said something sooner. Im not the only one who has missing work.
