Happy to say that I did make some progress on these pesky piles of things in the living room yesterday.
It must have really tired me out because I let the dog out and fed him and the cat about 6 a.m. and then went back to sleep until almost 10:00. I am not going to feel guilty about this, as I obviously am very tired.
Took Rex with us to the dog park and he was less obnoxious and barky than the last couple of times I took him. When I took him home, I caught Jess sleeping on the couch, so laziness must just be the theme today. Scarlett is over her fever and nobody else has been felled, so for now tomorrow's turkey plans are on.
I signed up for a sound healing concert at the Unity Church on Saturday night. I am meeting my new friend Charmain there. I just thought it sounded nice. Crystal singing bowls.
Then I went and double-booked myself with Pam for dinner. So I went onto the Unity site to see just when that concert is happening. I read more about it, and the musician's name was familiar. So I go to the musician's web site, and sure enough, I know her. I cannot remember how I met her, but she was living in Viroqua (the little hippie town near where I used to live) and it looks like maybe she's still there. Wish I could remember more. I do remember having a crush on her, which was not reciprocated. If I had known it was her, I probably wouldn't have signed up. Maybe I could invite all the other potential suitors who have rejected me. Fill up the sanctuary.
OK, I think I'll go and keep cleaning out that filing cabinet and watch some TV. I am enjoying The Haunting of Hill House. I had started the first episode awhile back and found it very confusing. All those sisters look alike. But I started it over and it really is good.
Hope you all have a great holiday.
