On past resolutions; Success Rate

My resolutions from 2008. How did I do?

1) Learn to cook at least 5 different dishes that can be made on a regular basis. I think Kayce will agree with me that this is something that's been a long time coming. It helps that we now have a new grill.

2) Get into wedding shape way early. Early enough to be in that shape before my first big stage combat gig this year. And stick with it.

3)Obsess/Fixate less. I'm not sure how I'm going to do that, but it's been brought to my attention several times in the past year, so I should see if I can make some adjustments to that.

4)Get back to people promptly. Too often do I get a voicemail or e-mail and think "ok, good to have that information, I'll get back to them when I get a chance". I need to start responding right away. Return the call, write the e-mail, finish the thought. Don't assume that they know I got the info and I'm ok with it.

5) Be more aggressive about getting work. I know I say this a lot, but it's true. I've stepped up my game, but I need to step it up even more.

1) Partial credit. I've gotten a few new ones thrown into the mix, but I don't think five.

2) Eh, I did alright. I'm in great shape now so that's got to count for something, right?

3) Definite improvement. Not perfect, of course, but I think I've gotten a handle on letting things get to me less.

4) Oo....maybe a 35% success on that one. That is one thing I will need to work on more. It might be repitition of resolution for 09.

5 Well....if we're talking effort, I did REALLY good. I only lose out here because of time given to the wedding stuff and because of a fucked up economy.

Oh well. Better luck next year.
