Winter Break
Okay, so...WAY TOO MUCH TV LATELY! But I think it's justified because my apartment still doesn't have cable so I never really watch TV.
So let's see...I've made peace with the roomie, hung out with Kim, completely redone my mother's bathroom with gray and pearly paint and new orange colorings, cleaned the whole upstairs but it still looks very messy, and after a long time searching, I found the perfect cardboard cutout of a cultural icon for Jake...
...okay, so it's a little cliche, but who doesn't like 'em...The Three Stooges...in golf apparel! I wanted to get him spawn, but he isn't comical at all or as iconic as the stooges. I also could have gotten Frankenstein who looked AWESOME...but I think I'm settled. Cardboard cutouts aren't very varied these days, but I'm satisfied and I hope Jake will be too.
The only complaint I have...I'm exhausted and I haven't really done that much! My mom's been getting me up everyday at 7 and 8...that's soooooo early for a school break, so I've been going to be before 10 every night lately except tonight...ahhh, coffee!
I usually get really sad when I come back to Fairfax, but this time it's not so bad, but I really miss Richmond and the people there. After Christmas, my mom and I will be going skiing and snowboarding with new family so we can get to know them better...I really actually don't want to go. The people are very lovely and nice, but I want to spend more time with my dad and brother. After the snow trip, we'll be heading to South Carolina, and then I'll be going up to Chapel Hill to see Jake and to meet his parents! I'm so excited, and it will definitely be the highlight of my break. Then I'll head back down to South Carolina, then back up to Fairfax, then back down to Richmond to start ILLUSTRATION!! WOO! :)
