Update + 30-Day Anime Meme: Day Fourteen
Yay for impromptu two week hiatuses! XD I really meant to use the anime meme as a way to get myself to accquire the habit of posting more often since that's one of my resolutions starting this year, but I guess I still have some work to do. ^ ^;;
Anyway, the past couple of weeks have been kind of busy, kind of not. I've had three interviews between this week and last week, but no offers yet. Emo has been kicking in, but I'm happy to say that I've been able to kick it back so I can continue being my lovely spazztic, slightly ditzy, and sleep-loving normal self. In other words, Chrissie as usual. ^ ^
These things have been taking up my time:
+ Job hunting/applications/interviews
+ Commutes between here and Orange County to get to interviews (go go 5am train rides!)
+ Watching Tiger & Bunny (barely up to episode 7, which I need to re-watch because my Con failure has gotten ridiculously worse which may or may not be because my chronic anemia has returned)
+ Re-watching/watching Pokemon with the kids (who cried real TEARS when we watched the "Bye-bye Butterfree" epiosode the other week, I felt like such a BAD big sister)
+ Reading gaijin Gal blogs on Blogger
+ Playing Pokemon Soul Silver (currently grinding to level 50 so I can challenge Blackthorn Gym)
+ Occasionally reading fanfic (Prince of Tennis, Tiger & Bunny, YuYu Hakusho and probably other things I'm not remembering at the moment)
+ SEEING PEOPLE! Seriously, I *adore* hanging out with you guys; please do let me know if you're bored and want company. I'll do what I can towards helping you out with that!
I've also been really thinking about lots of things, some of which I'm sure I'll end up sharing here or elsewhere. But not now, as I don't intend for this post to end up being overly long. See, this is why I need to post/blog more often. Even though it might not seem like much to me, things I want to blog about tend to pile up. I think it's better for me to just post more often versus burdening everyone with horridly long posts. But we'll see how that goes hopefully well.
Now for the return of the 30-Day Anime Meme! Since I've been MIA for a couple of weeks, the only person I know who's finished the thing is nobody_and_me, but I could be wrong now. I'll know when I go read my f-list to find out what everyone else has been up to. ^ ^;;
Day 14 - Current (Or Most Recent) Anime Wallpaper
I don't really like the majority of the anime images for series that I've read/watched, with some exceptions, so my wallpapers are usually of manga art for a series that has both a manga and an anime. And that usually translates to something that CLAMP either created or at least worked on. Why? Because I LOVE LOVE *LOVE* the wonderful ladies of CLAMP, so it's an inspiration to me every time I see their work, it's so amazing! Hence my habit of CLAMP wallpapers on Haine-chan. That being said, this is what I get to stare at whenever I open Haine-chan for the day:
Although it's a bit risque in some aspects, I absolutely love the art work for Chobits. So I end up using a lot of Chii or Chii/Freya wallpapers. They're just so cute/pretty/creative. ^ ^ Note to self: dig out Chobits volumes for re-reading; it's time.
