Unbelieveable
How could it happen? To one of the smartest people I know? No justice here. It's one of those things that you don;t think could ever happen to someone you know, someone you love. To Buck? The kid who could win a Nobel Peace Prize? A tumor? It's surreal. He says he's doing fine and that it doesn't hurt. Thank god they caught it. He has to not go back to school this semester. Put his life, his future, on hold. Why? It didn't sink in at first. I didn't get it. My mind could grasp it. Surely not Buck. Surely not a tumor. Was it one of his awful, unfunny jokes that I've missed so much? No. The first guy I ever had a crush on. Freshman year. The guy who kept me entertained and helped me get through all of AP Lit. Senior Year. Four Years. Four years of being good friends. I haven't seen him since Winter Break this year. I was so happy to see him. Dear God, let it be beatable. What would the world, our group of friends, I...what would we do without him?
