It was homecoming this weekend, and that was fun. I think we lost our football game, though. I don't actually know, because we left at halftime, but that's what I heard and that's the direction it was headed. Oh, well. We got all fancy for the dance, but the dances STAR puts on are usually pretty boring because it's all hip-hop like and probably ( Read more... )

I'm contemplating doing nanowrimo, but I have to finish writing all my college application essays first.

Man I really want to do NaNoWriMo, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up, with college stuff and all. And I don't want to do it if I can't be completely up for it - because where's the fun in not finishing? However, at the same time, I think it'll motivate me to just write already!

When exactly does it start?? I literally don't know anything about it - but a large majority of my f-list does it, so I'd like to get involved!

It starts November 1st... and you can find even more info at nanowrimo.org. It's really fun, even though I've only been able to finish once. I'd definitely make an attempt at it, though, it's fun. :D

I remember reading your story a few years ago - it looked like so much fun, it's really the only reason I want to do it this year. I finally caved in and signed up, so I guess I'm in it for now :D

Any idea what you'll write about this time?? [that is, if you do it?]

Oh man, that story I wrote back for NaNo 2005 was probably the funnest thing I have ever written. It's full of plot holes and incoherency but I love it to death. (By the way, if you're bored and want to read through it again as a refresher/a preview of how much crap you're going to be writing next month, it's still all up here. :D)

I'm writing a sequel to that this year. :D I don't want to give too much away (mostly because I don't know half the plot yet), but it's going to be ten years later, Fergus Berwick is going to return, Blake will somehow end up selling her soul, and hilarity will again ensue. Good times!
