(no subject)
1. Sarah hasn't ever seen Anchorman. HOW HAS THIS HAPPENED? It needs to be quickly remedied.
2. It's furniture move-in day for the ickle freshmen, so there's people everywhere. Not the greatest when I'm trying to take a shower, but let me tell you, thank God for bath robes. Megan, our RA, informed me yesterday that apparently, Sarah, Bridget, Elizabeth and I are the only sophomores on the floor, and for some reason, this kind of rocks. Mostly. I mean, we will be surrounded by freshmen, but at the same time, we are totally the Queens of 2 South now. Fo sho.
3. The last people who lived in our room decided they were going to hang 3M hooks EVERYWHERE. They are literally all around the room, and they never bothered to take them down. There's even some on the HEATER, which blows my mind. What?
4. Last night I went to Davanni's (ah, good times) with Elizabeth, CJ and Pattywhack, and it was pretty good, despite the fact that CJ and Pat are men. We went back to my room after that and Elizabeth went to veg out 'cause she had a headache, so CJ, Pat and I watched The World's Funniest Commercials and then an episode of South Park. And this has been stuck in my head ever since:

5. So, our desks are built into the wall, and dividing mine from Bridget's is a tall cement pillar like thing, and the walls above are shelves and some wood paneling. There's a substantial crack between the column and the wood paneling beside it on my side of the desk... I've decided that it is very obviously a portal to a parallel dimension, and will be investigating this thoroughly in the days to come.
6. I think I'm finally going to see 300 tonight, on CJ's rich roomate's 32-inch flat screen TV. For the win!
