I think I'm turning into a speed freak. I have a great urge to finally get myself a driver's license and, of course, a car, just so I can go for long drives around the country... You can probably blame all some of this car mania on the copious amounts of Top Gear and car!action movies consuming

It totally depends on who's the teacher and how you... you know, work with them in that kind of a situation. XD One of my cousins (Riina) was taught by her dad, but for example her older sister went to driving school simply 'coz she knew that she would never get through the lessons with her Dad. They get along fine yes, but nonetheless she knew that they would have ended up in a horrible shouting match every single time they went driving. ^^;;
THen again, if you know you could work it with whoever was teaching you, it might even be better than driving school. Laura (Jani's gf) was taught by her Dad as well, and she liked it that way. One of the benefits is that you don't have a set of fixed driving lessons like in school, but you can drive as much as you like with your teacher. If I don't remember wrong, you get about 32hr of teaching in school (one hour is about 25 min) and at the end of the day, that is not much.
Yeah, that would be nice. *nodnod* It's always better to be able to share the driving. ♥ Long distance can be pretty damn exhausting to drive. =/
