Ah, I've been lazy with updating once again, it seems. I haven't been up to much, work and excercise and that crazy tennis fandom have pretty much taken up all my time lately.
It's Wimbledon time again! And oh, Roger's doing so well it almost seems like last year never happened. Keep it up, baby, you're in the finals now! But just as I feared, poor Rafa did have to withdraw from the tournament after all, so I've been filling up the void by following some of my other favourites' games a bit closer than usual. Aw, Wawrinka was so close to making it to the semis! I would've loved to see him play against Roddick. And speaking of Andy, the match he played against Hewitt was so intense! I didn't know which one I was supposed to be cheering for, heh. And now that Roddick beat Murray, we'll get a classic Federer/Roddick final. Ah, I couldn't have asked for more. ♥
On book front, I've been reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward.
shimyaku mentioned it in her journal a while ago and it sounded like something I'd enjoy, so I gave it a try since when have I ever been able to resist mindless vampire entertainment UH, and actually, I'm pretty much loving it so far. Well, the romance part is pretty basic, but I love the silly macho vampire brothers! They're just all such dorks in their own special way. And of course, the V/Butch might just be the best thing after tennis slash sliced bread. Somehow that whole human/vampire dynamic is much more interesting when one part isn't a whiny teenager and the other an emotionally impotent stalker...
