Immediately after being hindranced by a dragon, he crossed paths with Lara. He likes her. As a friend, of course.
Leslie Vernon (plantsnturtles)
Interesting guy. Gave Darien a little more info on the city and a little warm welcome, so he can’t be all so bad. They actually get along quite well, despite the whole creeper thing.
Sari Sumdac (the_sari_virus)
Nice kid, and definitely the type willing to assist those who need it. Darien sometimes forget she’s a kid due to how helpful and active she is.
J. Jonah Jameson (gdit_parker)

Considering how most things go in Nautilus, Darien’s surprised to see how incredibly... normal Thomas is.

At first, Darien would have been willing to assist her in exchange for assurance that he would either receive counteragent, or no longer need to drug to remain sane. However, his mind was quickly made up upon hearing what she had done to Sari, as well as other kids in the city, and quickly made his allegiance against her favor.
William Jesse Grant (apreacherboy)
Met William for the first time on the beach, while conflicted against his thoughts on Isis being a godsend. Eventually, they both reached to the same consensus that Isis was not to be trusted.
Katherine (maternalmedusa)
One of the Wakened brainwashed by Isis’ influence, and helped reverse that brainwashing with the help of Plastic Man. Doesn’t hold it against her for her reasons to change her world at the risk of siding with Isis at the time.
Plastic Man/Eel O’Brian (pliablepaladin)
With his help, managed to take on Katherine in attempt to de-brainwash her. Another hero-type, although far less reluctant than Darien is.
Samus Aran (bounty_chaser)
Had met her under unfortunate, bare circumstance.
Squall Leonheart (shivas_lover)
Was willing to accommodate Darien with his little sanity dilemma, once Quicksilver Madness started to become an issue. Like Sari, definitely seems to be the helpful type.
