Excitement

Yesterday I spent most of the day catching up on news in the video gaming world. What got me most excited was the announcement of the release of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ in Japan! Just like the first Final Mix, the original game was expanded with new scenes, battle elements and voice overs from the NA version. All that plus an extended version of the secret ending in the regular version of Kingdom Hearts II. And... A re-release of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories [initially for the GBA] for the PS2!! It will be redone in 3D. What's curious is that they're keeping the battle system. Gosh... I'm so excited! Of course... It's still not certain if any of the two will see a North American localization. Based on the first Final Mix, chances are low that it will hit American shores. Oh, well. If I'm desperate, I can either buy a Japanese PS2 or get Swap Magic.

Then I read more about the new generation of consoles and upcoming titles in the series I like. Too bad there isn't anything about a new Ogre Battle game.

I canceled my order with EBgames.com since my friend in the States ordered a copy of the CE of Final Fantasy XII for me. It'll save on shipping costs, hehe. A family friend will be bringing the game for me. The problem is that I'll be getting it just a week before the start of the next semester... I don't know if I can finish it within the week nor do I want to rush the experience. While waiting for it to arrive, I can busy myself with finishing the GBA games I started.

Entertainment

I haven't been doing much, apart from browsing the internet and reading a novel. I recently saw "AI", though. The movie, AI. The one with Haley Joel Osment. I didn't know the movie would turn out the way it did. I was wrong about it, hehe. I thought it would be more like "Bicentennial Man" but a lot "slower". Turns out, it's between that movie and "I, Robot" (though it's more like the former). I didn't really like the ending, though. It left a lot things unresolved, even if David (Osment) got his wish. Kinda like deus ex machina. But overall, it was a lot better than I had first thought it was.
