MacDonald Thorne knew that feeling as well as the yet unnoticed Raye did. He too had been delayed a time for nourishment due to work, because he had been up and grading homework assignmets, the rather large stack of them. Now that he had finished, it was time for something to eat.

He would have preferred the Leaky Cauldron in London also, but Professor Dumbledore preffered all teachers to stay close to the castle in case of emergency. The kitchen, of course, could have been an easy way out of this perdicament with his stomache that he was feeling at the moment, yet he had this need to get out and rather quickly. How did one get into a booth and NOT notice that Raye was there? Well, clearly, she was being much less visible than she normally was or something. At any rate, that was soon to change, because she noticed him and she flashed him a brilliant and charming smile.

Raye would have to agree that she deserved his full attention, or any man's. Or maybe she was just determined to have it. Same difference, really. She grinned as he took notice of her and kissed her hand. Oh, yes, this one knew how to play these games quite well, which pleased Raye to no end.

Of course, she would have laughed at the insinuation that she'd come looking for him. There were far more other men in Hogsmeade she liked to flirt with and she'd been honestly surprised to see this one there now.

But she wasn't about to complain, either. No, not when the lunch was going SO well. If it continued so, perhaps she'd be a bit late going back to work.
