She had been gently reprimanding a student who had dared trod on the hem of her newest red dress when the loud slam had interrupted Dira's row of verbal abuse at the poor child. They had just been in the doorway of the library (Dira, passing-- why would she have reason to place her beautiful presence among those dusty tomes?) when the slamming had occured. The child had squeaked and run off (wuss) and Dira, unabashed although she hadn't exactly been expecting the noise, had turned on her heel to see what it was all about.

Well! Lucern?

Her Lucern, walking around like a baffoon, slamming things like a ridiculous, angry child?

This would not do.

Crossing her arms over her chest and approaching the man she would soon call her husband, she frowned at him and said in quite a lecherous voice, "My love, I do not know what on Earth could cause you to lose your temper, but a woman might hope her future spouse would avoid such childish displays, don't you think?"

((Sorry Sammy. You know me.))

"Of course not, dearest, it will not happen again." Lucern did not gaze at her straight away as he had before when she made her presence know to him. He took a moment to calm himself down. He was not sure how to handle himself around her with that thought corrupting his mind. "My lack of sleep must be affecting my judgment. Forgive me?" He stood up and rolled his eyes towards her, after trying to come up with a reasonable and believable excuse.

If his dream had not been so vivid, it would have been completely washed away now that he was with her. Dira had that affect on him; she always had, until now.
