"Well, that certainly was enlightening!"
The last cry echoed as the door slammed behind the heels of the little red-headed girl.
"Did you get her name? Lemme seeit!" Rita pulled the parchment towards her as the venom-green quill pulled out of her way, somehow looking mildly offended.
"Louvika? What nationality d'ya suppose that is? Hawkins? Not the Irish Hawkins-- oh yes. This would make perfect sense, well!" she set the parchment into a bright pink folder sitting at her side, next to the tea that Miss Hawkins had ungratefully refused (she did, however, reek of coffee beans).
"What a charming way to start off the week, don't you think?" the reporter asked the quill, who dropped itself in an exhausted fashion on the tea cozy. "Little Miss Hawkins... don't think we can get away with saying she's been Confunded by Dumbledore himself, do you? Maybe slip it in as an idle hint... why anyone but a Hawkins would support Dumbledore to that degree... must be crazy. But the child was a bit ratty, don't you think? Hot-headed, definitely."
The quill did not respond.
"Minister will like that, I do believe. Next!"
