Chen moved a tiny bit closer to the mirror, adjusting the angle of his chin slightly. He blinked a few times before opening his eyelid wide again, carefully applying his mascara. He was particularly fond of the type ( Read more... )

Chen was a very lucky boy this morning.

While Illiad had previously made fun of him because Chen had the misfortune of bearing the own stammer Illiad himself had gotten rid of, the Slytherin had not yet quit his make-up wearing habit and it would therefore, be hypocritical for him to tease the Ravenclaw for his own.

Which made Chen extremely lucky.

But it didn't help the Claw's position that Illiad was in a very sour mood today. Some complete loser had 'accidently' (or so he claimed) spilled marmalade all down Illiad's front. As if! Illiad hadn't bothered retaliating, too concerned the orange mess would stain. He'd run into the bathroom without even looking at Chen, pulling off shirt and tie in attempts to wash it clean.

"Damnit!"

Chen always liked to believe he had good luck. He didn't know if it was true or not, but he liked to trick himself into believing it was.

But marmalade... Now that WOULD be terrible.

Chen jumped a little when Illiad burst into the washroom. His eyes fell upon the mess that covered the Snake's vest. He tried his best to hold in his laughter, for he feared the consequences. After all, a little emo boy with marmalade-covered clothes was one of the worst types of bitches. Especially considering it was Illiad Hawkins.

He decided it was best not to say anything, but instead Chen cast a concerned glance at Illiad. Not out of concern for him, but for the shirt.

Illiad, undoutably, would much prefer some ridiculous baby like Chen pitying his shirt more than him-- thank you very much! He didn't need his cousins idiot friends thinking he needed their help, or their pity! He could get by well enough on his own.

"What are you looking at, Bludger-face?" he asked the Asian boy, sneering the moment he caught Chen watching him scrub his shirt so furiously. "Someone punch you? You've smeared your mascara, like a damned queen," he noted where the brush had moved when Illiad's enterence had startled Chen and the other boy had jumped.

Not that it wasn't a bit rich for Marmalade Chest Illiad to be saying this! But really, you'd think someone might know how to properly apply their fancy dancey new make up!

Bludger-face? Chen was only mildly offended. He was too smart to get himself invovled in such idiotic affairs like Quidditch.

"What?" he snapped in confusion. He turned quickly back to the mirror, and cursed inwardly when he saw the minor smear. How cute of Illiad to point it out for him. "It's not too impossible to fix.."

He glanced at Illiad's shirt again. He did feel a little bit sorry for the other boy, but just a little. Chen shuffled on his feet.

"Um, would you like some help...?" he asked meekly.
