Esme was curled up in a big chair by the fire, sketch pad open on her lap. She had been trying to draw something but it just hadn't been coming out as she wished so instead she was engaged in the highly unprofitable task of spinning her wand around as fast as it would go on the nearby polished table.
Eviently, her wand go bored of this game as it suddenly decided to shoot sparks out at Esme. "Ouch!" she cried, sucking her finger and glaring at the wand.
