Jeremy hadn't been avoiding Dari. Not really.
They'd bumped into one another a few times through the week but he'd made this excuse or that one. Honestly, she'd even managed to catch him at one point when he was actually on his way to class. He wasn't avoiding her but Divination was, at the moment, better than the fake, yet normal looking, smile that he had to keep on his face when he was with Dari.
He spent his free time doing the things that he normally did. He'd not lost his desire to 'spend time' with as many females as possible. However, he put a great deal of effort into not having as much free time as normal. He went to class... even the early ones and he had even studied a page or too. (Not too much studying, obviously... he just wasn't cut out for that.)
Right now, he was on his way to the Great Hall. He had no classes on Friday and he'd taken full advantage by sleeping as late as he could. Normally he would have gone to the kitchens and fixed himself a late breakfast but he was feeling lazy today. (Probably because he'd actually done school work during the week.)
As much as he loved Dari, he didn't want to spend time alone with her. So far, he'd managed to keep from really snogging her without hurting her feelings... he just wasn't ready for it. Not after everything.
