Jackie tried not to look nervous as she waited for Phoebe outside her History of Magic class. It was one thing to chat about fun, nonsense stuff like Snape and his penchant for ice cream, and even Quidditch at times, but it was a completely different thing to grill her about her affiliations and if she would make a good member for Dumbledore's Army.
Usually Tuesday afternoons were reserved for Gryffindor Quidditch practice, but luckily (if Jackie could call it luck?), Phillip had reserved the pitch for Sunday; and with the embarrassing results of that practice, he decided to work on Quidditch plays during the holidays instead of beating his team into a pulp. That freed the afternoon for Jackie to work on the Club, and she thought Phoebe might be just the girl to ask.
Trying to practice her patience, and calm her anxiety, Jackie leaned on the wall across from the History classroom and waited.
