Week Name/Date/Time: 'The Minister is Elected'/ Monday November 7 / 6:15AM Location: Ronnie's Quarters Open to: Ronnie Currently Involving: Ronnie, Bastian
While Ronnie tended to be a bit of a violent waker, the fact that she'd not slept in days played in both their favour. She did not startle or sit up, or even gasp as her body and mind slowly slipped back to consciousness.
Instead, she gave a soft, whimpery sigh, and curled into a tiny ball.
Vaguely aware of the arm around her, but still not awake enough to realize who it was, why they were there, and what they were doing. All she knew in her altered state was that whatever it was felt nice and warm and comforting.
She mumbled lightly, unconsciously grabbing the arm and tugging it tighter around her.
A smile came to his lips as she mumbled and curled into a ball, cuddling up against him in a way that was very much akin to a kitten or something of that sort. He was glad that she'd been able to finally get some sleep -- she'd looked like she hadn't slept in over a week, which wasn't good for her.
He thought about saying something, as he was a morning person and therefore able to create coherant thoughts first thing in the morning, but he decided that he would let her slowly wake, instead of trying to make her wake up quickly to focus on him.
Instead, he just let his arm tighten around her as she'd unconsciously made him do, watching her closely. She actually looked peaceful right now...
Bit by bit, the realizations were coming over her.
Ronnie sighed, twisting and stretching comfortably, still very aware of the arm. The awareness of the arm slowly became awareness of the leg she nudged with her knee, the torso that the arm was attached to, and finally the soft fluttering of breath from the mouth on the head that was no doubt attached the torso of the arm.
Eyes flew open, breath stalled as her fears came to the surface; under normal circumstances she'd have likely flailed out of the bed, but her paranoia had her terrified that it was some Death Eater, snuck in to do the worst damage he could.
However, Sebastian was looking at her.
...
"Hello.." she trailed off, slowly beginning to remember the evening before.
"Hey," he replied softly, lifting his arm and bringing a hand to her jaw for a brief moment before taking his arm back to himself. He doubted that it would be welcome now that they were awake, though he didn't move away from her.
He didn't know what to say to her, now that she was awake. Of course she'd asked him to sleep in her bed, but that was quite beside the point, considering everything.
"How're you feeling?"
His tone was still soft. Perhaps it was a dumb question, but it was the first thing on his mind. He wanted to know how she was doing -- if she was any better, if the sleep had helped... anything.
