Classes had just been let out. This meant a whole bunch of students were all simultaneously running around chaotically in the halls. It also meant Jesse would lean against the wall, observing the students and almost sinking into it. He'd rather not be involved in all that chaos.
With the dark trenchcoat and equally dark big hat, it was rather hard. Especially as the wall was this nasty beige colour that made the black stand out even more.
Jesse leaned back against the wall even further, as if he really could sink in it. Maybe, he thought, if he stood perfectly still... he would disappear. The students' visions seemed to be motion-oriented anyway. Plus it seemed like the halls were clearing up. Finally!
But unfortunately, to some students, people standing still against the wall made them a perfect target. Especially if that person was Jesse.
