Kier had just heard some Very Distressing news. Charlie- his Charlie- had found some random bloke and she hadn't even told him about it. He had happened to overhear it from one of her friends and Kier, being the nosy little bugger that he was, pried and whined until she finally told him who this boy was. Grady Bucher. Of course, Kier had absolutely no idea who he was. He did know that he was a 7th year Lion but that was about all that he knew. And now Kier planned to meet this boy. And by meet he meant interview to make sure that he was good enough for Charlie ( ... )

Grady placed his fork down, waiting to see just how long it was before his plate would disappear. He had never bothered to stay long enough to watch his plate vanish (though the dishes all around had long since gone), and for some reason it now interested him. Maybe that was because it was an awfully good way to pass the time; watching your dish vanish was nearly as interesting as watching the bloody grass grow ( ... )

The boy looked rather confused by his question but then again, it was a rather confusing situation. 3rd years didn't often come up to 7th years and demand to know if they were a certain person. But hey, Kier wasn't the average 3rd year. Oh no. He was a boy on a mission ( ... )

It wasn't important? Grady thought that it was rather important, but he was not in the mood to exert the energy it was going to take to get the others name. He didn't think if he stood up and talked a bit louder, it might not have been particularly difficult to get some sort of an answer out of the boy; that was, if the little nuisance could be intimidated by that.
