Larae sat three objects on a table in front of her. One was a floppy disk, one a video game system, the other a compact disk.

On the chalk board, she had wrote, "Please explain, in detail, what these three items are, and why Muggle's use them.

Winnie settled into the classroom quietly. It was a new class for her, but the Professor Dalina seemed very nice. She hoped she wouldn't regret taking this class.

She stared for a few moments at the objects in front of her and at the instructions on the chalkboard. Biting her lip, she very meekly raised her hand. "Um, excuse me, professor? It appears that I'm the only third year here...and I'm a Muggle."

Looking up from grading papers, Larae realized that the girl was the only third year. "Oh dear, um, since you are alone, how about coming up to my desk. I'm sure we can work something out."

She realized that she didn't know the girl's name. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name."

Winnie nervously approached Prof. Dalina's desk. "Sorry, professor. My name's Winston McAdams, but please, call me Winnie."

She glanced back at the table near her seat. "I could, um, tell you what those things are if you want."

Forth Years: prof_dalina February 27 2006, 20:00:44 UTC
The task for the forth years was simple.

The board read, "Turn to page 342 in your text books. Read up on Television. Write an essay, to be turned in before the end of class, on its orgin, mechanics, and use."

After settling into her desk, Alysha opened the proper book. She scanned the pages carefully, tapping the soft end on her quill against her cheek. After reading the section twice, the over-achieving Claw began her essay.

Even as she finished it, she worried it wouldn't be thorough enough. But she layed the essay on Prof. Dalina's desk with a smile. "There! I hope it's good enough!"

Larae smiled gratfully up at Alysha. Skimming her paper, she smiled. It was excellent.

"It's wonderful Alysha! I really like how detailed it is. Did you have a good summer?" Larae looked down, scribbled a quick 'A' on the paper, and looked back at the girl.

((OCC: Just for future refernce, You don't actually have to turn in the homework. XD Its just there to get things started. Of course, you can discuss it if you want, and actually write a few things, but only if you want. What you want to do is to get people to thread with you. Hehe, but if you want to do it, feel free, you get extra cookies from me XD))

Avery looked up at the board. Television, should be good. She was actually hoping that the professor would touch on diversity and culture, but maybe that'll be a bit too soon to get started on.

She took out her quill and parchment and thought of where to start. History would be as good as any. She did have a question though. "Professor, I was wondering if you have a specific length that you want our essays to be?" she asked, smiling at the professor.

Two items were placed on a table. One a spark plug, the other an outlet.

The board read, "Open your text books, read up on 'Spark Plugs' and 'Electrical Outlets' and explain the differences in the two plugs.

Juhi walked into the room, annoyed at feeling slightly nervous; her lunch just seemed heavy in her stomach.
"Great. First one here. I hope adding this class was a good decision," she thought.

She picked a desk and started settling in, reading the board and looking for the teacher. Oh yeah, Professor Dalina. The woman was impossibly cute, at least.

She read the assignment on the board and felt a bit of a pang. Yep, this was definitely going to give her insight into her grandparents' life. But reading and then comparing/contrasting? That she could do! She began getting out the materials.

Dalina noticed that she had a new student, whom must have just picked up her class.

"Oh, hello! Im professor Dalina, or Larae, whichever you prefer. You've just started this class, haven't you? Well, I hope you enjoy it."

"I could NEVER call a teacher by their first name!" Juhi thought. She felt slightly scandalized.

"Oh, yes, this is my first year. Um, in your subject, I mean. I'm a fifth year, obviously, hehe," she stuttered. Then she took a deep breath and met the woman's eyes and felt a bit more comfortable.

"My name's Juhi. I'm in Ravenclaw." She smiled. "I dropped divination; I'm sure I'll like Muggle Studies. I pretty much just like CLASS." She shrugged a little.

Larae had five items lying on the floor. All of them having to do with automobiles. A Motor, A Steering Wheel, An Oil Filter, A Hubcap, A Gas Petal.

On the board, "Choose a partner. Between the two of you, decide upon one of the items, and tell how we, in the wizarding world, could use them."

Lucky to choose a partner, Nicholette assumed. There wasn't anyone in the classroom yet... great. She silently slid into a chair, and eyed the board reluctantly. Of course she knew what was on the floor, all parts to a car. And how they could be used in the wizarding world was beyond her. That's why Niki got the good grades in this class anyway, having a muggle parent wasn't the only perk.
Quietly, she pulled out a quill and a roll of parchment, and got to work, by herself.

Larae noticed that Niki had walked into an empty class, and she needed a partner. "Oh, hello Ms. Dubois. Since it seems no one else is here, you can do this by yourself I'm assuming, seeing as your such a intellegent person?" Then she noticed that Niki was already in head of her, she'd already started the assignment.

Of course Professor Dalina thought that she was such an intellegent person, Niki had always done exceptionally well in Muggle Studies. "Good day, Professor," she said quietly, busy at her work.

On The Board:

"Open your text book, and read up on telephones. Give your reasons why using wizarding modes of communication is much more efficent. Write a short essay, explaining yourself. To be handed in before class ends."
