Ari was pacing impatiently outside of study hall, waiting for Jackie to come out. She hadn't properly talked to her friend in ages so now seemed like a perfect time to pounce on her. Actually, they had spoken that weekend but that had been a rather depressing, serious conversation about Jackie's love life so that didn't count. They were in desperate need for a lighter conversation and Ari had nothing better to do then stalk her poor friends.
She glanced at her watch, pursing her lips in mild annoyance. It was 10 already; why wasn't she out? Hadn't Jackie learned to leave study hall as soon as possible by now? Silly 5th years didn't seem to know anything. Ignore the fact that that was her last year.
She paused to peer through the doors to see if Jackie actually had any intention of coming out. Apparently, patience wasn't Ari's middle name. The girl practically beamed as she spotted her fellow Gryffindor walking towards the door. Instead of doing the logical thing of waiting, Ari flung open the door and grinned rather crazily at Jackie. "Jackie!" she cried, ignoring the rather confused stares from the other students in the great hall. "You take forever and a day, you know," she informed her, still speaking louder than necessary in the typical Ari fashion. "But hurry up. We have important business to attend to." Not that Ari actually had anything planned, of course. She placed her hands on her hips and shot Jackie a mock glare as she waited for her to reach her.
