I’m loud, friendly, outgoing, like to laugh at stupid things and usually the one is prone to doing things before thinking them through.

I should start off by noting that *I* am friendly, loud and outgoing. If only you could see how often I draw the attention of every single person sitting at the Starbucks patio because of it.

That said, I'm not too happy to see your appeal here as you are one of our point earning snakes. But if you're really not connecting, I suppose I can understand.

My question: What house do you think best suits you and why?

Now, I hate answering this question, because I know that regardless of the fact that I am answering what it asks, it still feels like I’m pushing and I hate that. So, I’m going to throw caution to the wind and answer this question straight. I think the house that best suits me is Gryffindor. And now the omnipresent why. The reason is because I am the equal opportunity fangirl. I mean, I like pirates, as well as ninjas (though pirates more, because Johnny Depp is the sex). I’m incredibly prone to doing what I feel in the right thing regardless of whether or not is the right thing. I like to write NP porn, especially of the kink variety, and I think that there is a greater calling for that in Gryffindor than in any other house. I’m laid back, fun loving, and I love pulling pranks. I once saran wrapped a group of my friends’ cars, just for fun because they were grounded. I always stand up for what I believe in and defend those who can’t help themselves. I can’t call myself brave, but I can call myself stupid to the point where I’ll ( ... )

I once grabbed Michael Phelps’ ass because I thought it was a good idea at the time.

HOLY CRAP HECK YES. YOU ROCK.

I too am sorry to see this application up here. I'm giddy and bubbly, dammit. XD

If you truly don't feel you belong with us though I'd like to know this:
What HP character do you feel most connected with personality wise and why?

Okay, this is a difficult question because I can relate to different characters at different times. But after reading HPB (don’t worry, there will be no spoilers here), I can safely say that there is one character that a good portion of my personality has found a sister in Nymphadora Tonks. She’s a showman, constantly changing her appearance to make others laugh and to blend in with different situations. She’s a chameleon. She’s bubbly, vibrant, clumsy, a bit wise beyond her years, and a rebel. I adapt to my surroundings and the people I’m with. I’m always changing bits and pieces of me to make whomever I’m with comfortable. I never change the entire thing, I’m still myself, tried and true, I just know how to blend it and still stand out at the same time. I like to make people laugh, to put smiles on the faces. I’m clumsy as all get out, which is really odd, as I’m a very tiny person. I’m a rebel with a cause (there are multiple), and come from a family who’s doesn’t approve of what my mother did with her life, just as the Blacks don ( ... )

Questions... questions...

1. What is your dream job and why?

2. What would be your favorite class at Hogwarts (and why)?

3. Would you put your name in the goblet of fire? why or why not.

And... Ok. I'll stop asking so many questions... I think I'm trying to make up for being slack at asking on the last application.

Question 1 lookslikelove July 29 2005, 03:52:22 UTC
To be perfectly and blatantly honest, my dream job would be to work on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I know that that doesn’t sound like such a lofty ambition and perhaps in the grand scheme of things, it’s not, but still, if I got to be on that show for even just a week, I could, would die, very happy. Or if the Daily Show doesn’t work out, I hear that Stephen Colbert is getting his own show called the Colbert Réport, and that would be just as great ( ... )

Question 2 lookslikelove July 29 2005, 04:03:13 UTC
Hmm. Now, that means I have to go to class, right? Well, since that does, I guess it’d have to be Transfiguration because I’ve always thought that it would be really cool to be able to turn one object into something else completely different, no matter how small or frivolous. There are so many different times when I had a pen and needed a pencil or had pencil and want a pen and the use of transfiguration would’ve been so handy to have at those moments. The concept is just so fascinating and to tell the truth, I’d probably be tempted to use the skill for stupid things ala Seamus Finnigan, but I’d still have fun and love it none the less.

Yes, yes I would, in a heartbeat. And since you demand a reason, I’ll give you one: because I have nothing to lose by doing so. There are two outcomes to my putting my name in the Goblet of Fire: either my name gets pulled from it and I get to compete in a life changing, totally amazing, once in a lifetime competition or it doesn’t and nothing changes. I can’t lose. It’s impossible. Sure, I could (theoretically) lose my life by competing, but I would never know unless I tried, and trying never hurt anyone. So, I’d do it and I’d always have the ‘hey, that could’ve been me’ story rather than ‘well, I never tried’ one.

asking my usual:

what are the defining traits of each house?

how do you fit these traits?

how do you not fit these traits?

Part 2 lookslikelove July 30 2005, 03:26:14 UTC
Hufflepuff:

Okay, when someone earns my trust and becomes my friend; I will be loyal to them until the ends of the Earth. I will do anything for them and help them out in anyway possible. I’m a really laid back person and I can just take things in stride. I’m honest to the point where’s it almost a flaw. I’m a generous person, always giving to charity, my time, my money, and other necessary things. I’m somewhat bookish, in the fact that I always know what is going on in the world, as I feel that that is very, very important.

Ravenclaw:

I guess that you could say that I am a smart person. I know a lot of really random facts and what not and have read a lot of books. Amongst some of my geekier traits, I have won numerous fact contests, so those are just a few things that fit the Ravenclaw ideal. I’m a creative person. I write stories, and make up characters all the time; something I’ve done since I was a child.

Slytherin: I’m about as outspoken as people can come. Well, not really, but I come pretty close. If I’m thinking ( ... )

I'm going to be straight forward and say this before I post this last part as an explaination. I see myself in all of the houses. It's true. Any well balanced, well adjusted person should be able to say that, so that's why this part is shorter than any of the others. With that said, some this stuff might seem like a reiteration of things said else and in a way it is. So be it.

Hufflepuff:

I’m so impatient it hurts. If I want something, I want it then, but half the time I don’t want to go get it. I will go get it eventually, but I don’t want to have to wait for it. In comparison to the Puffs, I look like a righteous bitch. Seriously, they make me look like a horrible person, but I love them anyways. I’m bold, and willing to go for the gold if I want it.

Ravenclaw: I’m not uptight at all. I’m laidback, carefree, I enjoy having fun, and hate studying. I’m wise beyond my years, but it’s not wisdom in the sense of books which is what Ravenclaw is known for, it’s real world knowledge. I’ve been in the world and I know what it’s like ( ... )
