its one thing to consider ourselves favourites, but some folk seem to believe a 7 point lead (with a ZOMGWTFIMBA game in hand!!!) means the league is game, set and match united.
news flash: this is football. upsets can and will happen. sorry guys, just because it's manchester united, does not mean we have a god given right to win the league. the best team over the course of 38 games wins it. if stoke city have the most number of points come may, then the title goes to stoke. simple as, really.
i think we as fans have been spoilt to the extent that we are not used to losing. but if we (yes, myself included) sit down and think deeply, this is a game that can be lost or won EASILY! lets get down to earth. drag out those memories of 3-6 away to soton.. 0-5 at st james park.. 1-4 middlesbrough.. 0-3 at san siro a couple season back.. shit happens. get back down to earth!
