On the bus this morning, I saw a sticker stating that there were cameras and MICROPHONES on board! I didn't think they would be allowed to have microphones, but who knows.
I just hope they record all the grumbling about the stupid changes they made to regular bus routes when they brought in the new subway line! They cancelled all the express buses on my regular route and have the regular bus that stops at every stop. I used to get a seat on the regular bus all the time, but I can't now because the bus is half-full by the time it gets to my stop! The least they could do is put some of the articulated buses on the route!
Not impressed with the "improvements". This morning I heard one woman say that she drives to work most of the time now because her transit commute is longer with the new system! There may be more people riding the new subway, but that's because they screwed up all the express routes. That train is going to be a nightmare to ride when the Olympics get here!
