Why are drugs bad? No, really. Why do they tell us that drugs are bad?

Is it the dependence? A lot of things are addictive. So?
Is it the damage to one's health? Come on. What is healthy these days?
Is it the question of price? Only reason that drugs are relatively expensive is because drugs are illegal.

I don't do drugs. I never touched a cigarette in my life. Why not?

If everything is about chemistry and we have these magical "happy pills" that only start working after a month you take them, why is the idea of an "instant happy pill" or "magic happy powder" so terrifying, so morally wrong? If something makes people happy, and they're not hurting anyone else - why ban it?

I think I have an answer. It's just so vague... Bah... forget it...

pointless babble
