Oh the drama...
As I type this I am watching the 1st season of the OC (rented the whole season from Blockbuster today). This show is just classically directed. They just do everything by the book. They just make it look so easy -- slow slow tracking shots; medium close shots; over the shoulder shots; long reaction shots; mellow soundtrack at dramatic moments; the use of off-white balance for change of moods (that was my favourite) -- it is just so well made.
They should teach with this show.
I just remembered how much I liked making TV. How much fun it is to direct and to edit and this whole process of creating.
