Quote of the Day:
Homer: Aah! OK, don't panic -- remember the advice your father gave you on your wedding day.
Abe: If you ever travel back in time, don't step on anything because even the tiniest change can alter the future in ways you can't imagine.
Thought of the Day: Taking a nap between 8pm and 1am is probably not the brightest idea.
Ran into
this Dilbert comic. Reminded me of asking people not to confuse me with their "facts".
The NFL conference championship games are held tonight. Winners will meet in 2 weeks for the 39th Superbowl. As boring as it might sound to some of you hicks, the NFL playoffs and Superbowl are definately something to look forward to every year. Though I hardly watched the regular season, I can report that my team, the New England Patriots (aka "the good guys") made it to the playoffs with a record of 2 losses and 14 wins. Not too shabby. In today's game, they're going to play the Pittsburgh Steelers. I already have my nachoes and salsa ready. I may also order a pizza or something, and will make a night out of it. Go PATS!
Talking about football made me think about one of the first homepages I made, back there in, I guess, 1997 or something like that.. I wrote the damn thing with notepad and scanned and cleaned all the graphics myself, including te spinning NFL shield... I was so young and clueless... In any case, it explains the basic rules of the game... [
