The King's Speech
Clearly I have been remiss in my duties as a good Rushie. I have only just NOW seen The King's Speech, and let me tell you, IT IS MORE AWESOME THAN ANYTHING EVER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD WILL EVER BE AGAIN! I mean, okay, it's not "life-changing," but it's pretty damn close still. It's beautiful. I'm talking gorgeous cinematography, people. The music is perfect, and you know, I've never been consciously impressed by a film's editing, but this one was very well-done. And literally not one ounce of bad acting in the whole thing.
Colin truly deserved the Golden Globe, and he'll deserve the Oscar too if when he gets it.
Helena was superb. But she always is, so what more is there to say.
And Geoffrey. Oh, Geoffrey. I honestly didn't think he could get any more awesome, but oh, lookit that, he's gone and done it. SERIOUSLY! HOW IS THIS MAN SO PERFECT?! And this role was made for him. He was heartbreaking and lovely and hysterical and if he doesn't win the Oscar, well...bitches will be cut.
Everyone just...please go see it.
