completely moved!
Ok, maybe i should be doing these in the form of blog posts, as opposed to bullitens, but either way, here i go:
All our stuff is moved into the apartment, my computer is running now (past few days been operating from a friends laptop)
during the move, my laptop took a spill, so i have to check on the good workingness of that sometime soon. not under warranty, so if its messed up, then so be it. i dont use the old thing as much as i usta could.
the fun process begins, UNPACKING.
Our kitchen is slightly unique in the fact the only drawers are like.. 8" across, so kitchen stuff could go into one, then silverware. there not wide at all. im still tring to figure out where food will be at its handiest in the cupboards, but thatll come in time.
My digital camera charge cord has been lost for quite sometime, so i wish i could "photodocument" this all, but inless someone has a charge cord for a sony P200 kicking around, im screwed. untill i find the actual charge cords.
amongst other things lost was the cork to the sparkling Peach wine me and brad shared for our "first dinner here" so if the wording is frigged up, it may be due to the fact were finishing off the bottle instead. dont worry.. ill be fine tomorrow.
so we'll be plugging away at the pile of boxes in the living room this week, sometime when it stops raining, i have to head down to NH to pick up our new mattress! the boxspring much to our assumption was a piece of crap, and so were sleeping on the floor untill the new QUEEN MATTRESS gets here. my cousin's GF moved in, so they had a spare bed. AKA: our new bed. since we have full mattress now, we can use those sheets temporarily, (there a little tight, but theyll do fine.) but with tax season comes leaway money, and the planned purchases of a headboard/footboard/railings and other apt. neccessities.
*sigh* felt sooo great to take a nice long shower after finishing up the move, though i think im gonna have to get higher curtains, as there is a window that could possibly see us if were climbing into the shower. (though i suppse we could de-gown in the actual shower before turning on the water..) but ill see.
Cable internet... but no tv... Sigh. at least my soaps still come in. thats all i care about! lol everything else i can catch up online. but hte internet was mucho importante!
