Over the last few days, I finished reading "The White Road" and "Glimpses" by Lynn Flewelling. They were awesome. I am sad I finished them. I enjoy her books. I might have to read her other series, because I love this world and these characters she has created. She's probably one of the better not big name authors out there. I either have a cold or allergies or I irritated my ear and thus my sinuses. Kind of a constant sinus pressure, scratchy throat with the usual dripping down the back. I can breathe through my nose just fine, and I have this very occasional lightheaded feeling. No fever though. I just wear a sick mask and muscle through the day ( Read more... )

So my awesome friends Cat, Beth, Kim, and Cat's Momma all live in Newark! So once a year they kidnap me for several days and we exchange lovely banter about how Virginia had the FIRST colony and how Delaware was the FIRST state, and other such American history baubles.
