Daigo Santa

Tuesday: I...really can't recall what happened at school on Tuesday. I am sure it was hilarious in some way. The kids really dig the Christmas lessons and I feel like Mrs. Darling when she adopts all the lost boys in Peter Pan - Christmas cookies, the keys to the Japanese soul. Much lamenting over lack of oven.

Wednesday: More lessons! We also had a fire drill. Went well. I'm sure something else worth mentioning happened but I don't recall...oh yes. I am a whore for hide posters apparently, as I ordered all the stuff they released of his that day. Granted I didn't own any of it (3/4 of it is re-re-re-re?released albums) but...I wanted the free posters that came with the first press. >_> I AM A SAD PERSON.

Thursday: Sixth grade went well. They like games, and I swear to God, if I have to do directions three times again, I will kill someone. I know the kids might not remember it but even I can't think up three different classes worth of fun things to do with "Turn Left, Turn Right, Go Straight, Stop." Luckily, Cops & Robbers, and Amazing Race seem to work. (If you want to know what they are, I will explain them to you. I am too tired right now to type it up.) Second grade...oh god. Okay, Christmas lessons are preparation intensive, and it is frightening to watch your students just plow through your materials. But they loved it.

What they loved most:

Jessica Daigo Santa Sensei.

Oh yes.

I had a Santa hat, a stocking full of cards I made for each of them (all my kids are getting cards), and I had on fingerless gloves that I decorated to be Daigoish so I could do "We WISH you a Merry Christmas." The kids LOVED it. And of course wanted my gloves. They like "O' Christmas Tree" because of the dance I made up to go with it. The kids like to move about.

They also think I made everything by hand. I apparently will make a good wife. HAHAHA oh Daiso, I think we need to get engaged hmm?

Sarah, your package arrived! I keep forgetting to email you. T___T I HAS SUZAKU NOW YEAAAAAA. He is all pretty with the other GAYass figures. I haven't tried the tea yet but I will soon. And the scarf looks very warm. Thank yoooou. <3

The forms to abandon my medicine came today. I am reluctant to fill them out.

I am glad tomorrow is Friday.

I watched the 5th graders' English play. Not too bad.

As for how I am, besides tired, I am so busy just with school, that it keeps me distracted. If I can't think about it, then it's not happening, and therefore is not real. (If you don't know what I am referring to, read my last post, I'm pretty sure you can figure it out. If not, I must look calmer than I thought.)

Toshi's photo on his blog today...is kind of hot...but also hilarious as he looks like he rolled out of bed and just appeared on tv. Livin the rockstar life I see. XD

He also has a photo of his wife in the T-EARTH album (the second one). It's kind of blurry so I have this mental image of him sneakily taking a photo of her, and her then hitting him for it as the women do here when their men embarrass them but they like it because it means their man loves them. Or something like that.

Oh! And TOSHI mobile should be out on all phone carriers here in Japan by the end of the year. Fuck yes. I want Toshi wallpapers for my phone. What I really want is a ringtone of just him screaming. That'd be awesome. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" "Oh I got a phone call hold on." "......that'saringtone?!"

I should order a Christmas cake, but I don't know if I want to eat it all alone.

Rachel, Raeanna - do either of you ever get the urge to email Okada-sensei? Because I mean, today, my kids asked me "JAPANgo yomeru?" and I was like OH MY GOD LINGUISTICS AT WORK. MUST TELL OKADA.

toshi, good day, tired, kumano, work, hide, japan, t-earth, sarah
