01. My flight to Tennessee? Was horrible. I left my house at one in the afternoon and didn't get home until almost midnight. I could have drove several hours faster than it took me to drive to the bus station, take two buses, get a three and a half hour delay at the Chicago airport, wait an hour on the runaway because of 'mechanical difficulties' and then drive another half hour to my dad's actual house. *is tired because of this and #2*
02. My dad bought himself a new digital camera and the whole thing has just cemented the fact that I was a horrible person in a past life. I was woken up at seven in the morning (when I went to bed at two) by him taking horrible pictures of me sprawled weirdly across my bed. They are not flattering, let me tell you.
03. I did, however, rack up on the presents.
DVDs
• Bones: Season Two, just because I love this show so much that I must own it.
• Firefly: Complete Series, I'd like to say that I'm finally going to start watching because of you guys, but that's complete bullshit. I'm going to start watching because of a boy lol.
• Instant Star: Season Two, I get to watch it on an actual TV now, instead of having to put up with super low-quality torrents.
• Tru Calling: Season One I have season two, because it's cheap, but not this one.
• Angel: THE COMPLETE FUCKING SERIES. I told him I didn't have any of the seasons so he could just get me whatever seasons he could on sale and he bought me the WHOLE. DAMN. THING. This almost makes up for him getting drunk on Father's Day last year. Almost. *hugs it*
Misc
• A gorgeous navy pea coat, two sweaters, two pairs of fleece pajama bottoms, and a scarf from Old Navy.
• A super-awesome wireless mouse for my laptop. It's so pretty! (I'm so geeky!)
I also got an amazingly warm/fuzzy hot pink scarf and a colorful hat/glove combo from my cousin.
04. I'm using the two week break to revamp all of my fan sites. I say this every year but I've already done more today than I did the last two breaks combined so I win points and credibility for that. But all of the new layouts I've created are black and white. I can't help it. So far they've all looked a thousand times better not in color. [David Anders Fan, Michael Cera Fan, Considerations (Matt & Julie), and Blurred Photographs (Rory & Jess) will be in about an hour or so.] My muse needs to come back. Like now.
05. I've already told her this once but it can't be said enough...
