i'm off to see the wizard!
01. I am done with school for two and a half weeks! No words for how exciting this is. I am done with everything I was overwhelmed about in this post. Well... except for the packing... and the Christmas cards, but I did work on those a bit Friday night after I got home from dinner with my grandparents! If you're first name starts with A-I, then you're Christmas card is already in the mail. Everyone else... they might get done by Valentine's Day, if you're lucky.
02. I had my Christmas with my mom and Toe this weekend! Friday night we opened our one present, which is always pajamas. Unfortunately mine didn't fit so I have to take them back and swap them out at Target :( But yesterday morning we woke up and had 'Christmas' and I got some great presents! My big one was yoga classes, which is so incredibly exciting. I've wanted to take classes for years and now I get to take them once a week for ten weeks. *dances* I also got a couple movies, books, and trinkets. Pictures under the cut.
Books: Normally I'm not much of a chick lit fan but my mom picked these out and did a really good job. I'm in the mood for some fun page turners, and it'll give me something to read when I'm stuck at the bus station and airport tomorrow.
• Blood is the New Black by Valerie Stivers (She got it because it's about vampires... in the fashion industry.)
• If I Have a Wicked Stepmother, Where's My Prince? by Melissa Kantor
• Love, by Jerry Spinelli (I loved the theme of the first novel, Stargirl)
• Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz (The sequel to Blue Bloods!)
Movies: Theses I specifically asked for so... woot!
• HP & the Order of the Phoenix (2-disc edition) The holographic cover does not photograph well.
• Superbad (2-disc edition) Michael Cera pwns infinity.
• Veronica Mars: Season Three I can finally make HQ Mac/Dick caps for the gallery!
Plus, some other randomness, including gift certificates, Choxie chocolate (yum!), Bath & Body Works lipbalm, Tinkerbell playing cards, a Columbia College lanyard, etc.
03. I'm leaving to go back to Tennessee tonight. My first bus leaves at one, and two connections later I'll be at the Chicago airport with plenty of time before my eight o'clock flight. I'll be gone for almost two weeks but I'm taking my laptop and my dad has internet so I shouldn't be too absent. I'll defnitately have to make a Post-Christmas-Post, Part II with the presents I get from him. Just wish me luck. You guys know how the two of us get along and this time, I'm there for TWO WEEKS for his crap. (I just know it's going to end badly.)
04. I'm finally caught up with Moonlight, and is it just me or is Beth/Josef suddenly about a million times more interesting than Beth/Mick? Josef's whole viewpoint on mortal women makes it even better. I totally ship them now, so it's probably a good thing I never opened that Mick/Beth fansite (which I actually didn't go through with because there are already two other sites for them). However, that has left me with a random domain (for-keeps.org) that I don't know what I want to do with. Hmm.hell
05. Belated welcome to all the new friends I've made recently, through memes and fanlistings and such! I can't wait to get to know ya ;) For future reference, this is my intro post from the summer, in case you're ever confused about something.
