so. the stress is (basically) over. it's all in their hands now.
the sign language proficiency test was okay. basically it was a conversation that was video taped to try and see how well you signed, your facial expressions, yada, yada, yada. i was really nervous for that, which it showed so my signing kinda sucked. plus i'm not very good when it comes to ASL i can sign in english but ASL is it's own language
the interview went absolutely wonderful. personally, i love interviews. they get to see who you really are and what you're all about. i got them laughing about 2 stories i told pertaining to how i learned sign language and the differences between the heading and deaf world. they kept nodding and smiling as they wrote things down, which i can only see as a good sign, being that at other interviews that's done wonders for me.
so. now, i sit and wait. for god knows how long (they haven't told us when we'll be notified). i can just hope to be accepted. being back on that campus was awesome. i forgot how friendly and cool the students are there. i've had two people voice concerns about how quiet it is on campus and well "YOU'LL BE MUTE BEFORE YOU COME BACK FOR BREAK" which was highly entertaining to hear from a friend.
and no, i won't become mute if i go there. so ha.
