Day 19 - Best Final Fantasy outfit
One of my favorite, favorite things about FFX-2 were the outfits. Yes, they were a bitch to cosplay or draw or even describe accurately, but I didn't care. They were just so ridiculously awesome. I could just happily stare at each dressphere transformation for each of the girls. the outfits I liked least were Alchemist, the outfits I liked most were probably the Trainers.
But ifyou're really, really, really going to make me choose a favorite out of all the awesome outfits worn by all the characters in that game, then I'm going to have to go with Gunner Yuna. I mean, dude! She uses twin guns and poses. Tell me that isn't awesome! Because not only was it an kickass outfit, it was also symbolic. Here was the most concrete sign within the first half hour of the game that we weren't dealing with the old Yuna, that the badass summoner from the previous game had actually taken an additional level in badass.The tail of feathers at the back of the mini-skirt symbolizing her new freedom, the symbol for the Zanarkand Blitzball team over her heart...that, and it actually is one of the more practical outfits in the game.
