Headaches. This gives me headaches.

So. I'm currently working on a video project.

Buffy and Giles' greatest (Season 1 - 3) moments, set to Repo! The Genetic Opera's "Didn't Know I'd Love You So Much". Which is a father-daughter song, because I don't ship Buffy and Giles so hard it is not even funny.

It's a 2:05 song. And here's me, debating over switching up the clip of Giles giving Buffy her diploma on Graduation Day with Giles giving Buffy her moment to dance with Angel, and saying no, because even though they're each accompanied by the same line ("didn't know I'd love you so much", natch), the first is sung by Alexa Vega and the second by Anthony Head so they wind up being different lengths by, like, half a second, which throws off the rhythm of the whole damn video. The whole damn 2:05 video.

I am talking me going through frame by frame to find the second where the clip cuts from Giles to Buffy saying "I know" during "Prophecy Girl" and head desking because if Giles didn't take so long recovering after killing that vampire at the end of "Helpless", it would be the perfect clip to end the song on. Might do the fight they have instead, for the dramatic counterpoint. Or the scene of Giles stabbing the Mayor for threatening Buffy. It's an intense enough last line, I could probably justify such an intense scene. (Edit: Oh my god, I forgot how badass that scene was. Yes.)

(I'd use That Scene from "Passions", but I used it at the beginning.)

I have a problem and it's not even entirely fandom related. I blame my mother.
