Today has been such an eye opening day for me. Somehow, in one day, I have discovered exactly what I want to do with my life and I am so excited to get started. My dreams are big but I can do it, I'm not wasting any time thinking about what I cant do anymore. It's humanly possible and that means I can do it.
My long term, final goal is to make my character Hiccup famous. I want her to be a much loved character, starting with books and working my way up to television and hey, maybe even films. She's going to be so famous because she deserves to be. Another goal is that I want to help artists and writers get out there, to give support and advice to people who have the same dreams and goals that I want. That means I will need a lot of experiance, so I'm going to do this at the end when I am as experianced as I need to be. I want to be a publisher of not just books but of all aspects of childrens media. I want to help people get in touch with their own creativety and write what they've always wanted to write and create their dreams, with my help.
All of my free time is now being spent on learning as much as I can, discovering what I need to know. It will be spent on writing my book and drawing the scenes as I want them to be. I will also be making the time to socialise with people, because I believe now that it is the time you make to see people face to face, not over the computer, that really counts. So, I'm going to go back to writing and make sure I finish this story so I can work properly on the illustrations!
