"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different.
You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Billy - age 4

I'm almost never mushy but I really liked this.

I had a staring contest with a 4 year old while in line at the bank. I let her win, she was creeping me out. She reminded me of me.

While on my run tonight I slowed down because I saw the strangest thing. There was a shirtless 20 something year old guy sitting in a plastic lawn chair. Normally that's not that weird...except he was sitting in the middle of a torn down house that I guess is being rebuilt. He was roasting marshmallows in the fire place that was the only thing standing. Just a fire place surrounded by a basic house frame. What was really funny was that when I turned off my ipod I heard Welcome to the Jungle coming from the little stereo next to him. Odd thing to come across in my neighborhood in the middle of the night.

My first day of school was interesting. Philosophy is going to be fun, I love my Business class already and my Spanish teacher really pissed me off. I need one more credit...I don't know what the hell to take. I got laughed at by these Hispanic girls in business and couldn't figure out why. Just when I was getting really pissed off they whispered "to your left" really sneaky like. I looked over and this tall wavy haired brown boy was looking at me like I was another species. He didn't even blink or move. I turned around very slowly all wide eyed and confused looking and the girls just burst out laughing. I looked over again and he still hadn't moved AT ALL. Later when we all did that whole icebreaker bit we found out he's a soccer playing Spaniard that no one can hardly understand because his accent is so freaking weird. I don't know what the social norms are in Spain but this guy is really going to have a hard time with culture shock here if he's always like that.
SO now I know who not to sit by. I think I might finally pick a major...maybe. I have issues with decision making.
