At about 5:30am, it was one of the first things I saw on my timeline as I was wading through the bulk of messages mostly from roleplaying friends around the world to get to updates from people I knew in person. And then I learned that my friend's father-- Patdes' father

Exactly my sentiments. I just hope that justice does come swiftly for my friend's dad.

Life is unfair. It truly is. And sometimes it makes me sad that ALL I can do is pray. :( But then again, it's also the very thing we cling to for supoort in the most dire of times.

Prayers, wishes, convictions-- it's all a way of finding some degree of inner strength to weather out the pain of grief. Please pray for justice for Patdes' dad.
