aahaha, i have been burning since thursday, 25 jan 07, doing various forms of yoga, brisk walk at the treadmill, cycle and i must say it has made me energetic and high after office hours. now i have been more alert, feeling fresher. however i don't dare to say that my weighing scale has record any weight loss. nevertheless, let me share with you what types of yoga i have done and my feelings about them...
25 jan - hartha multi level yoga
i went in late and my 1st time ager 3 years break from yoga nearly made me feel i am not as nimble and flexible... some poses (aka asanas) are making me feeling like a humty dumty. thank god, i come out in one piece.
26 jan/2 feb - fusion dance (bollywood music with indian and modern dance steps)
this 1 hour session really made me sweat. the music is nice and some of the indian moves really make use of the simple yoga poses. i danced out of sync but for the fun of it... it was good form of cardio vascular exercise! (the instructor is handsome and moves well. he looks a bollywood star... no more King of Bollywood -

27 Jan - intro to astanga yoga
though it is an introduction, i really sweat out in this 90 mins workout too. Stanley was the instructor, he has a clean and boyish face. guess alot of my LJ friends will like him!
on top of this 90 mins workout, i did a 20 mins brisk walk prior to this session. a good burn fat day!
28/30 jan - treadmill
nothing spectacular as i decided to give yoga or other forms of instructor led class a miss. :D 35- 40 mins of workout.
29 jan - gentle (yoga)
this is less taxing and i quite like the fluidity of this workout. the instructor, Yaad, has a funny way of pronouncing "feel" as "peel"! i was trying hard to deciper it till 10 mins later then i understand what he meant!
1 feb - Hot (yoga)
Hot?! well, the room is heated to a min of 30C and when i started breathing, i perspired. 30 mins to workout, i was lamenting... why am i suffering in this heated room! my dri-fit adidas tee was 40% drenched. this class is toughtest of all i ever attended the last 7 days!
coupled with high temperature and advanced yoga poses, i nearly give up. i am glad that i completed the exercise. this session is definitely good for those who want to lose weight fast... i really mean REAL FAST!
3 feb - prana and meditation
coming up at 230pm later.
