Author's Notes: I basically completely messed up canon just for the fun of it. I don't ship any of these (besides Harry/Hermione), so I basically just tried to think of the most random pairings that might in some way work. xDD

that happened), and her and Harry.
Maybe deep down she knew that Granger/Weasley just wasn’t going to work out. How much the two of them fought through their youth, they both seemed to think that it was part of their love and finding each other. While Harry was always just a steady rock for her, and she was the same in return. It seemed normal. On their adventure with the time turner, it seemed natural for it to be just the two of them; they worked well with each other. Of course, neither thought anything of it. But as time would show, after a while something just clicked. They had always been for each other, and today they were taking vows that they always would be.
“Hey.” Ginny snapped her out of her train of thought, and back to the reality in front of her. A beautiful princess wedding dress, and people surrounding her that loved her. Harry had wanted a small ceremony, which she understood. If too much word got out, Harry Potter’s wedding would be the wedding of the century. The Boy Who Lived, The Boy That’s Settling Down. So many people would invite themselves. It was a private gathering, held in the Muggle church where Hermione grew up. She was comfortable there, and Harry supported her through it. No matter how much she loved Molly, there was just something odd about having her wedding at The Burrow. She wasn’t going to be a Weasley, she shouldn’t burden them with that.
“You ready to go?” Ginny had grown into quite the successful woman. Seamus and her somehow fit together quite well, one of those random pairings that you would never expect until it happens. Even she wasn’t quite sure what got the two of them to try dating but she was happy for them. Ginny was expecting, and they were getting married in a couple of months. Another happy ending.
As Hermione made her way out of the door and into the hall with her maid of honor at her side, she saw a blob of ginger hair in a tuxedo slip around the corner. The name slipped out of her mouth before she could talk herself out of it.
“Ron.” He spun around slowly, as if trying to consider if it would be worth it to disapparate on the spot. But he started to walk towards her, and she could tell that he was trying to figure out what would be appropriate to say. They had a clean breakup, gradually growing apart as they really grew up. They truly were kids during the war, not completely aware of themselves and what they wanted or needed.
“Hermione. Listen, I…”
“Ron. Don’t. I know this must be really hard for you and all, I mean your thought-would-be-forever-ex marrying your best friend since you were young, but, you know…”
“Hermione,” he shot her one of this dorky smiles (most likely thinking of how she never seemed to stop talking), and continued, “I’m not an ignorant teenager anymore. I knew we never would have worked, but I was just staying hopeful. You and Harry, you work.” He leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek. “This is how it should be.”
Ginny stared in awe at how mature her brother was being, and cleared her throat to remind them that they didn’t want to leave Harry standing at the altar for too long.
“Yeah, yeah, sis. Okay. Hermione, you ready to go?”
“Yeah,” as they were carefully making their way down to the stairs, she added, “Ron…thanks.”
“Always the tone of surprise,” he said and winked as Ginny walked into the sanctuary flowers in hand. Then he opened the door, and lead Hermione arm in arm down the aisle. All the while, looking at his best friend who’s idiotic grin was growing wider and wider.
It was how it should be.
